Off to College

Today, 8th of June 2009, is the day that I'm finally in the military. I will be reporting 2 college at 10am today. Well, its hello 2 the Air Force College and goodbye 2 my civilian life..Wish me luck for whatever is ahead of me k??I'll see u again in a few mths..N do pray 4 my success..Thanx..Bye2..

Anniversary Dinner

Just now, my family went to this Rose Tea Thai Restaurant in Pantai Cenang.The dinner was for the occasion of my mom and dad's 22nd Wedding Anniversary. We toasted 2 a long n happy marriage and of coz, for my success in KTU.. This is due to the fact tht I contacted one of my seniors there, and he told me tht I am already known there, and the chance of me being helled is sooooo high..hahaha..So, pray tht I may be able 2 survive my junior yr there..Cope wt my studies and pass out in June 2012..

Kenduri Berkhatan

This afternoon, I went 2 a kenduri at my fren's place..It was on the occasion of his youngest brother's circumcision. Well, the food's good. N of coz it was a pleasure seeing the boy..He's like a pengantin..hahaha..getting his cock circumcised, and he already made alot of money..Gud 4 u Pi'e..

My last outing...

This morning will be my most memorable trip..Even though I have been living in Langkawi for 13yrs, I have nvr been on the cable car..Wht a shame..Ppl frm all over the world have been up there..N i have nvr been there..So, wt i did was, I went there this morning..I drove wt rabani 2 Oriental Village..Then, we paid 15bucks each 2 go up the mountain..The ride on the gondola was a bit scary but fun..Its just the fact that ur moving over a deep valley gives u the creeps..Upon arrival at the first stop, we took pictures..B4 going 2 the 2nd stop, we waited for nearly an hr 4 da clouds 2 clear..When we got 2 da 2nd stop, gosh..Its magnificent..We were on tht bridge n its rattling coz of the strong wind..Whatever it is, the view from tht place is damn nice..

My Sabah trip..

My flight from Langkawi to KL was very fine..A nice morning flight. At LCCT, I tried the new McD burger..What was it..umm..spicy chicken mcdeluxe rite??hahaha...Then, it was time 2 check in for my flight 2 KK..There is stg abt these Airbuses..The aircond is such that whenever u enter the plane, the aircond gas comes out all over the cabin like its on fire..It scares first timers..That fight did scare me too bt nt bcoz of the aircond..Well another thing abt Airbus is that whenever the pilots start the engines, all these strange screeching noises comes out..The lights will also flicker before starting on again..Bt this time, the lights did not start again..When taking off, we had a lot of turbulence since it was very cloudy and all of the sudden, the lights went on n off again..Even those strange noises also came out..I was like praying very hard that we did not crash..Thankfully, we did not. After a safe landing in KK, my Uncle Gilbert came and pick me up from Terminal 2..We went 2 pick Aunty Buwonia up at her office first, then makan..hahaha..had sum food in Sinsuran..Then, we went 2 this Wawasan Plaza or stg like that..

Then, its off to Moing's place..I took the Mercedez at Uncle Gilbert's place and drove it all the way 2 Tuaran from Menggatal..Kinda nervous driving a huge car for the first time..hahaha..Had a nice nite with moing and nanny..The next day, I drove Nanny 2 the Tamu in Tuaran..This time I drove the old Corolla..It was a bloody station wagon..N its nearly 30yrs old n the brakes are like shit..Later, I went for Mass at St. Johns..It was a Mass in Dusun..God..I had 2 pray in my own language..in my heart of course..lucky the homily was in Malay..Back from eChurch..N Tuaran was full..There was a massive jam..N the worst part was I hit a bumper of another car..Damned..The Merc was too long..n the roads were too narrow..

That evening, Uncle Gilbert and his family came n visit Moing n Nanny..Aunty went fishing and caught a nice, big, fat telapia..We fried it, made sambal belacan n ate it..hahaha..It was a real typical kadazan lifestyle..n real kampung..The next morning, Moing and I went 2 Penampang 2 see Moing Larry..He was a DO..N nw I need his help 2 get all my docs signed..We met up in Donggongon..We couldnt meet the DO tht morning since he was bz..So, we went 2 try the Majistrate in KK..Again, it was a failure since my form was still incomplete..damn..N then, being stuck in a traffic jam is no fun..huhuhu...In the afternoon, we went 2 see Moing Larry again..he said, leave all the docs to him n he'll giv it 2 me the next day..Then, its the long drive back 2 Tuaran..

Nxt day, Moing had 2 go 2 da Hospital..He was in severe pain..Bt when we went thete, the doctor was nt around..So, since moing cant stand it anymore, we took him to Aunty Kate Morris's hse in Austral Garden. Uncle Mike was there..He advice us 2 go 2 the Emergency Room while waiting 4 Doctor George..Finally, the doctor came after all the fiasco in the emergency ward..He prescribed Moing with new medications while waiting 4 his appointment 4 da neurologist..Then, Moing larry called..We went 2 his hse 2 collect the docs..All was signed..That nite, Uncle Richard took me 2 his place 2 stay a nite..

Nxt day, He gave me a watch..Thanx Uncle..In the afternoon, Auntie Annie sent me back 2 Tuaran..In the evening, i drove 2 Kingfisher 2 stay one nite wt my cuzens there..So, after they finished their hsework, I brought tishah n anna 2 One Borneo..Their parents are nt at home..They went 4 a pilgrimage in mecca..Tisha can really get me killed..hahaha..i was driving n she keeps giving cofusing directions..hahaha..n we were looking 4 chicken at 10pm..At home, I did her accounts hw 4 her..Pandai u ragging i ye??hehehehe..So, I slept one nite there..

Nxt day, went back 2 Tuaran..Then, tht afternoon, I went 2 see Auntie Pina in Inanam..Drove there carrying sum Ang Pow from mummy..There, I saw Ochie, Jeannete, Brian, my niece Olya, my nephew, Levinson n my cuzen Jojo who is getting married on the 30th..Congrats Jojo..In the evening, Brian took me out to CP for makan..Then, we went 2 Sacred Heart 2 buy a Bible..Cost me 50bucks..Then, later, its time 2 go back 2 Tuaran..The nxt day, I had 2 bring Moing 2 see Dr George again..

Upon arrivel at the hosp, Dr George was already waiting 4 us..went 2 see him..After tht, its home again..B4 tht, we went 2 KK Market 2 get the lada padi n sum Unplugged thingy..hahaha..things u cnt get in semenanjung..Tht nite, we did the rosary..The maid n her famili, n sum neighbouring famili came..tht nite, uncle Charlie came 2 visit..We sat down n drank lihing 2gether..He wanted 2 bring me 2 Tambunan the nxt day for Jojo's wedding..bt then, it would be a rush..No fun bah..

So, on my last day, b4 going off, I went 2 da market wt Nanny n I met my cuzen Ziko n Ziki there..wt their grandma frm their mummy's side..Then we went 2 the racecourse in tambalang...Went 2 collect horse shit for my grandma..she uses it for her baja..then, its back home..Later, b4 going, nanny made me hinava..a dish made of raw fish..suddenly, while savouring it, Aunty Tina came n its time 2 leave sabah..God..Hw sad i am..Then, its the normal 2 flights wt Airasia back 2 Langkawi..

Back to Sabah..

Tomorrow morning, i will be going back to sabah to visit my grandparents..I'll be departing at 9.35am from Langkawi to KL via Air Asia flight AK5321..Then from KL to KK at 12.50pm flight AK5106. ETA is 3.20pm..Hope that I will have a safe journey. Wont be online for a week..C ya..

Damn my laptop..

I am so damn bloody pissed off..Tonight, I went out as usual with Rabani and Almansu playing snooker and sitting near Pekan Rabu enjoying the night breeze.However, upon my return, i found something very disturbing. My laptop went into sum rehabilitation state n restarted everything leaving it how it was the day I purchased this shit. Everything..My songs, my downloads, my videos, my documents..all gone..My limewire, my VLC portable is all gone..I am so sad..

My Teachers..

To list down the names of all my teachers since kindy is kinda hard..Bt I would like 2 say thank you very much 2 all of them wtout whom I would not be where I am 2day. In RMC, I would like to thank Ma'am Saw Bin especially for her motherly care 2 me n my squadmates during our 2 year tenure there. Also for her care when I had my kidney stone problems. Ma'am Law, Ma'am Masariah, Mr Kung, Cikgu Anro, Ma'am Irma(though I had a lot of hard time liking u), Ma'am Salina, Ust Jeff, Ma'am Huda, Ma'am Intan, Mejar Habsah, Mejar Azri, Mejar Mohammad, Mejar Hadzrie, Cikgu Hamidon, n all the teachers at the Boys Wing..Nt forgetting DOS, , Mr Fook, Mr Johan...Thank u all..My special thanx 2 all of u..Back in SMSTSP, I than Cikgu Rabitah, Cikgu Ruslah, Cikgu Amir, Principal Azmi, Cikgu Halim, Cikgu Mardis, Cikgu Yazid, Madam yang..all the teachers there..Though I have made a lot of cases there, I do thank you for guiding me academically. I am grateful 2 all of u nw that I am a cadet pilot..All of u will always be in my heart.

Importance of English

Dear friends, especially OP's..It is weird right that I blog in English?? Dude, rite nw, u are already entering a new phase of life.Im nt condemning Bahasa Melayu. It is our National language. It is 2 be respected. However, do have this conscience, without good English, we cant go far. All the successful OP's communicate in English. 4get OP's, even guys from MCOBA, VIOBA n all those alumni crap use English as a medium language. Hell, look at MCKK.. The name states 'MALAY COLLEGE'. It doesnt mean that by using English, Malay is suppressed. In this age of technology now, English is vital in our jobs.Me, as a future pilot will have 2 communicate with all other pilots in the world in English. Those doctors out there will have 2 know English well as it is a medium language in communicating wt lecturers, doctors n patients. Those targeting ALAM, when u go out to sea and make a port call, do u think da dude there will say 'Selamat Datang, Meh minum teh tarik.'..hell no..Its all in English. Those going 2 UPNM, I knw we will just end up as military officers, bt hey, even the military is nw being revolutionized by technology which is y English is needed..Therefore, as a friend, I urge u guys 2 speak in English with me. Nt 2 show off, bt 2gether, we hav 2 help build each other..Till then..

MINDEF Scholar Students

If I am not mistaken, 2day, all the Boys who got the opportunity 2 study under the scholarship by MINDEF have reported 2 INTEC 2day rite?? Well, personally from me, I would like 2 wish u all luck n be assured that all our(Rexogrades) prayers are with u. May u make our batch proud. As I am also going 2 be a military personnel beginning 8th of June, I would like to tell u this, The Malaysian Armed Forces lack of medicinal specialties. That includes dentistry and pharmacy. We are all well informed that MINDEF is now sending Boys overseas to enable doctors to be born in the Army. Therefore, I hope that u will fulfill ATM's hopes. Not only that, but ur hopes, ur parents hopes, ur teachers hopes and everyones hopes as well. Dun waste ur opportunity..If u were 2 depend on JPA or MARA, only the straight A1 students will be given the offer.However, u guys are special. Dun blow it up..Study hard, make us proud.

On Staf Syimah..

Sori, bt I cnt reveal much abt Jijie n Staf Syimah just in case this blog was read by the wrong party..Dun want sumone 2 get firing..hahaha..

PWII Affandi, Sjn U Hihamuddin, Sjn Sekawi, Pbt Hasyimah

These r the extraordinary encounters i had with these ppl..Encik Affandi was the guy who really2 helped me get thru..He gave me a nickname there..Rozaros..I was his full time assistant..He knew my BMI exceeded the limit..So, he gave me a lot of push ups, PT-10's so that I can reduce weight..He also made sure I eat less..When da doctor changed all my details in order 2 get me in, he said this.." Saya bagi kepercayaan penuh kpd unit medical utk menentukan siapa yg layak utk msuk KTU. Kalaw diorg rase Rozaros layak, maka sy dan Kapt Saiful akn terima dy utk ke peringkat seterusnya". During my ujian syarahan, he was the one who took me and gave me advice on how to speak to the colonels..He also requested that I pass on his advice to all the other candidates..There are a lot of other things that he did..But this is the frst guy who has shaped me 2 become an officer..

2ndly, Staff Din was a cool Airforce sergeant..He helped us with all our food orders..He made me AJK makanan...It was tedious job..But then, it helped me gain merit pounts..Stf Din also helped us get our stock of cigarettes upon our return from Subang..He agreed 2 buy us da smokes as long as we treat him one Dunhill King Size pack..He was also a jolly fella..Really2 liked him..

Sjn Sekawi also helped us wt our smoke order..Special thanx 2 him..

Nw2..heres da hot stuff..Staf Hasyimah found her love in this selection..hahaha..with Jijie..Goshh..she was romantic..bt Jiji!! U shuld learn more hw 2 treat a gurl..hahaha..I was close to her coz she always called my num 2 get 2 jijie..hahaha..These r memories i'll never be able 2 forget..

My Life Since da 21st April..

On the 21st of April, I attended the selection program for Kolej Tentera Udara(KTU). I wasn't confident at prior to my failure at the UPNM interview.Of course that was my fault since I was overweight. However, after 2 weeks of detox and exercise, and a little bit of prayers, I took the risk again by going to Ipoh for the interview. I met the guy in charge of the whole selection, Capt Saiful RMAF..He was a cool officer driving a new Honda City..There was also PWII Affandi who knew me from the UPNM fiasco..Well, here goes..

First thing we did was the documentations of all our certs, ID's and all those really2 important stuff..Then, we had this Ujian Pengetahuan Am..Quite simple..normal questions on the Armed Forces, Malaysia n da world..There were 121 of us n we were separated into 2 groups of 60..we gt this long barracks..I gt da nicer one..Later i found out that it was once a ladies quarters..no wonder it was nice n it had this ladies sanitary pad disposal thingy..

The nxt 3 days, we did our general medical checkups..At the same time, we had this Ujian Merancang, IQ and some test I already forgot..hahaha..During the medical checkup, we were 'molested' 3times..once, by a PWII, 2nd, by a SJN n lastly, by Mej Dr Fatah..He's a Pakistani Military Doctor in service with the Malysian Army..It is during our medical checkups we checked our BMI, blood pressure, eyesight, physical structure and all those shit soldiers go thru..we even had 2 do a blood test..Thank God I passed..There was one incident wher on one fine evening, there was a cross wind and the wind blew all the tents in front of the RSAT n 2 flagpoles even broke off its foundations..

Done with those medical shit..Next was the 3.2km run..Thankfully I managed 2 run udr 18mins..Then we had 2 complete the obstacle course..It was fun although I havent done it in a while..Done with that, we prepared 2 go 2 Subang Air Force Base..
The journey 2 Subang was ok..Bt the best thing in Subang besides the accomodation was the food..Superb..N there was this cute waiter at the Wisma Ahli Udara..hahaha...
For 3 days, we had 2 travel to KL Base for a more thorough medical checkup at the Institute of Aviation Medicine..They 'molested' us again here, measured each n every of our body parts, checked our eyes using some goddamned machine, ear tests in some vault, heart check..it was really stringent..It is here that some failed..especially since they failed 2 achieve the sitting height required..

Done with the program in KL/Subang, we headed back 2 Ipoh..Here, we did our Air Aptitude Test..It was a test which had 4 papers..English Word Knowledge, Mechanical Comprehension, Visualisation of Maneuvers and lastly, Instrument Comprehension..It was a tough test..However, this was a test that could not hav any compromises..After the test, we had 2 eliminate a lot of ppl n the final strength was 51..The Airforce intended to accept only 60 of us, but nw tht there are 51, chances are damn bright.

Done with the test, we only hav to focus on the final 3 things..Temuduga Akademik, Temuduga Lembaga Awal n Temuduga Lembaga Akhir.All 3 interviews went well..During the temuduga akademik, we met with the Commanding Officer for the Pusat Latihan Pegawai..Lt Col Mudzamir Ong Abdullah..He gave a talk specially for OP's..Told us nt 2 teach the cadets the shit we learnt at boys wing..hahaha..Ironically, the next day, we were doing Semerah Padi wt our friends..U name it, convert, jabs, hammerlights, delta special, wtever special, kongket babi, semua ada..Unlucky 4 me coz my bday was on da 9th, blanket party pun tersebar..huhuhuhu..

Finally, on the last day, we were told that all 51 of us will be reporting to KTU on the 8th of June..It was a damned great 3 weeks where we get 2 knw our future squad b4 getting in the college..My tribute to our batch, OP Mejah n OP Ariff..Nt 4getting OP Afif n OP Pikey..

However, I must nt exclude my future squad who will be wt me until we retire..OP Paan, OP Dinie, OP Hamdi, Al-Hikam, Cacat, Fakhrul, Izhar, Ganja, Paklan, Jijie, Ayie n all those guys..Hope that we will meet in KTU on the 8th..
